I was refering to the comments of " Canalero 1978" One year before the Carter Torrijos treaty was signed. I travel to Panama 3 times a year for vacation and business...I wonder if Canalero has been back since 1978? This is like the people who say Paris is a dirty city, because that was the reality in the 70's but have never been their recently!

well, my wife is Panamanian and wants to live there so we will. what about all of the Panamanian people living and studying here in the U.S.? should they be forced to leave here? i dont think so. you need to relax and go with the flow, you are not acting very "Panamanian".
yes not only are people from the U.S. coming therre but also from Canada, other latin countries and probably Europe as well...you need to go with the flow.

si la gran colombia humbiera permanecido como una sola nacion, ningun pais nos hubiera ROBADO territorio y hubieramos tenido el mismo desde su creacion por lo inmensamente fuerte q era la gran colombia.. teniamos hasta el atlantico de nicaragua, el norte de peru, la guayana esequiba, parte del roraima brasilero, casi la mitad del amazonas , la mitad de costa rica, en fin.. eramos lo maximo!!
pero los 4 estados nos desintegramos por idioteces y no somos potencia.. :(

Aunque los "Tratados Torrijos Carter" hayan devuelto el canal a Panama...siempre existe la clausula de que si Panama cae bajo la ameneza de otro pais u otro peligro los gringos van a regresar. Son parte de la historia, presente y futuro de Panama. Todo es cuestion de economia.

Es la obligacion de sacarle mejor provecho al fenomeno actual. Este canal de comunicacion es un arma muy poderosa y no le conviene la mala publicidad que le haces a los hermanos de nuevo tocumen, samaria, torrijos carter y el chorrillo entre otros, los cuales se surran todo los dias trabajando en la construcciones que ha creado las inversiones en bienes raices.

Too many visitors exploite the people of Panama in repects to paying a live in maid $150 a month or taking advantage of small business' & retirement discounts... When you can afford to fill your oversized SUV´s every week, you can afford to pay a decent salary to your maid or full price for an already cheap meal. There is always good with the bad & it goes for everyone involved the Panamanians & Gringos.
